Missional living Part 2

I’ll never get over how simple the first steps can be.

My sister in law, moving towards a missional life, baked cookies enough for two of her neighbors this evening. I’m looking forward to good stories about this later on, but already, the effort is worth mentioning. Her husband is full time working in the Navy and she’s at home busy with five children under the age of 7. If you have an excuse why you are not a missionary to God’s people, then you can now delete it forever. Being missional is about searching out what God is already at work doing in your neighborhood or network and joining alongside him in the process. So many times, I believe that I’m starting something new and big, when really, the whole story began a long time ago when Jesus said, “Hey, come and follow me.”
